BASIC INFORMATION

SOLOS/DUOS/TRIOS

AGE OF DANCERS

Age is based on JANUARY 1, 2023 i.e the age you are in 2023. 

​

ALL DANCERS ENTERING MUST ATTEND A SCHOOL ATTENDING WITH GROUP ACTS AT THIS EVENT, OR BE ENROLLED AT A REGISTERED DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM

 

LEVELS - You can only be entered in ONE LEVEL

RECREATION - Dancer must be enrolled at a School attending and choreography for acts entered must be from a teacher at the school or own choreography. This level is aimed at mainly non-competitive dancers that do not compete at Eisteddfods.

COMPETITIVE - Dancer must be enrolled at a School attending. Choreography for acts entered can be from an outside source but the dancer will be representing their school not their dance studio - understanding of this is paramount. This level is for "dance competition kids" dancers that regularly attend dance comps and compete

​

ELITE - Studio-based Dance Education Academy or Home Based Distance Education dancers only. Outside choreography allowed, own choreography encouraged

6&U, 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 15+

Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre/Broadway Jazz, Classical (inlcudes Demi)

PRICING

$35 per solo, $50 per duo or Trio

Solo/Duo/Trio Dancer Rego Pass is $15 (covers your group rego pass as well - basically you just need one pass all weekend)

MUSIC HANDLING

We do not charge for music uploads, we accept music submitted via our website music upload system which is FREE of charge.

​

Rego passes are compulsory for each dancer competing at an event. This pass covers your dancers insurance, entry and backstage passes. One pass only is required for the duration of the event.

SCHOOL GROUP ENTRIES

ALL ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN VIA EMAIL ONLY - INVOICES PRODUCED AND SENT PRIOR TO EVENT

AGE GROUPS AVAILABLE

PRIMARY (Years 1-3), JUNIOR (Years 4-6), JNR SECONDARY (Years 7-9), SNR SECONDARY (Years 10-12)

Unlimited amount of Dancers can dance up and age group

Up to 2 Dancers are able to dance "Down" a year - eg a Year 4 kid can dance in Primary - a Year 5 kid cannot - Please contact us for clarification or questions regarding this.

STYLES AVAILABLE

Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre/Broadway Jazz, Open Any Style, Student Chorey Challenge

PRICING

$0 per act - $15 per student attending (minus any solo/duo/trio dancers who will pay rego pass separately)

Audience viewing will be available via the venue closer to the dates
