QUALIFICATION

LOCATION - Dancers must only attend their States Championship. It is based on where their Studio is located. The only exception is QLD - Studios in the Tweed and Northern Rivers border communities area may attend QLD or NSW State Championships (please contact for more clarification)

SOLOS ENTRY - Qualification can be achieved by attending any GTB Regional or Online event and scoring a Platinum (80) or higher score in any one section entered. If dancers achieve this they can enter as many solos as they like at State Champs. 

CHAMPION SOLO - Dancers must score a Double Platinum (90) or higher to enter this section.

AGE GROUPING

Age for solos/duos/trios is based on the age at the time of qualifying at the regional*, you enter the same age group.

Age groups available - 6&U, 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 15+ 

Styles available - Same as regional

*If entering WA State Champs as a 2021 qualifier - Age must be based on Feb 24, 2022 (age you are on this day)

CHAMPION SOLO

This section is for your best solo. Unlike Nationals, You can repeat this in general solos as well. It is any style and will be on with all the other Champion Solos in a Champion Solo day/night!
