At Get The Beat, we are proud to be a family-owned and operated business. Since day one, our goal has been to create dance competitions where dancers, families, teachers and spectators feel genuinely welcomed, respected and inspired.
We believe competitive dance should celebrate talent, creativity and sportsmanship in an environment that is safe, inclusive and enjoyable for all ages. Our events are designed to be family-friendly, with performances and music that can be enjoyed by young children, parents, grandparents and the wider community.
As we continue to expand throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and now the United States, these values remain at the heart of every event we produce. We ask all studios, choreographers and competitors to help us maintain this positive atmosphere by choosing music, choreography and costumes that are appropriate for a family audience.
Together, we can ensure every GTB event remains a place where dancers are celebrated, families feel comfortable, and everyone leaves with great memories.
Competitors can perform for major prizes, impressive trophies, sponsor awards, scholarships and prestigious titles, but the opportunities do not end when the competition is over.
Each year, Get The Beat takes our National Champions to the United States to compete internationally. More than 150 young dancers have already received this incredible opportunity, representing their studios and experiencing the excitement of performing on an international stage.
We are proud to create an environment where dancers can perform at their best. Competitors regularly tell us they feel more relaxed and prepared before taking the stage, while parents and teachers often say their dancers have delivered some of their strongest performances at GTB.
