QUALIFYING FOR GTB WORLD FINALS 2026 AT KUALA LUMPUR​

JUDGED BY PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRY JUDGES AND SCORED AS IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY ON STAGE IN FRONT OF THEM.

THIS IS PURELY TO QUALIFY YOU FOR FINALS. EACH ACT WILL BE ADJUDICATED INDIVIDUALLY AND WILL RECIEVE JUDGES AUDIO FEEDBACK AND A SCORE AND LEVEL TO ENABLE YOU TO QUALIFY FOR THE CORRECT SECTIONS AT FINALS. THERE ARE NO PRIZES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ONLINE QUALIFYING PROCESS.

VIDEO AGE

The video you submit must be from 2025 or 2026. Your age submitted must still be as at March 1, 2026

GENERAL SOLO SECTIONS

You can enter as many as you like. Make sure the amount you pay for is the amount you apply for in the style checkbox screen. You can only compete once in a general solo section. 

Age groups - every age from 4&U to 15+

DUO/TRIO SECTIONS

You can enter as many as you like, All Styles. For each duo or trio you just need to make the one transaction.

Age groups - 6&U, 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 15+

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

This is for dancers competing with a solo for the very first time. Doesn't just apply to GTB competitions, first solo at ANY event. This solo can be repeated in general solo sections as well. Any style accepted.

Age groups - 6&U, 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 15+

Qualify for ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

CHAMPION SOLO SECTIONS

Your favourite solo. Can be a repeat dance, can be a brand new dance. Winners or very high scores may be invited to be part of Dream Jr at Finals (Junior/Teen/Senior only)

MISS/MR GTB SECTIONS

Were you born to entertain?? Then this section is for you! 100% about entertainment, bring your best acting and performance skills to a regional! You can repeat a dance here.

This section is only for Solo styles  - Musical Theatre, Broadway Jazz, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Song + Dance, Tap

Age groups - 6&U, 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 15+

GROUP ENTRIES

You will need to submit 2 x group acts for online qualification. If the judge deems the acts up to the standard of qualifying for GTB Finals - you will be able to enter as many acts as you like for Finals at a later date.

JUDGING

• This is NOT a competition. It is a QUALIFYING process for GTB Finals Australia & GTB Worlds.

• If you have competed at a LIVE event - you do not need to participate.

• Each routine will receive audio feedback from a judge and a score ranking (eg Double Platinum - which will qualify you for Champion sections as Finals). You will not be against other dancers, nor will any placings or prizes be announced or mailed. This is qualification only at an individual basis. 

• A Platinum or Double Platinum score (80-94.9) will qualify you for Platinum Level General Solo Sections

• A Diamond score (95+) will qualify you for Diamond Level General Solo Sections

• A Double Platinum score (90+) will qualify you for Champion of Champions

• Qualify with 1 solo and compete in 3 solos at Finals - You can enter two additional styles.

1. GTB WILL CHECK AND SORT THE ENTRIES BY DATE OF BIRTHS + AGE GROUPS

2. GTB WILL USE THE EMAIL YOU PROVIDED TO SEND YOU A DROPBOX FOLDER WHERE YOU CAN UPLOAD YOUR VIDEOS

3. GTB WILL ORGANISE JUDGING AND THEN UPLOAD YOUR AUDIO CRITIQUES
